Career Paths in NGOs and the Public Sector

It can often be impossible to fathom the different career options that lies beyond as a newly graduated life science student. Not only does the private industry employs thousands of people in Denmark, but the public sector, non-governmental organizations, and charities also present exciting opportunities for people with a life science background. These combined, are responsible for authorizing clinical trials, discussing the ethical questions new technologies may bring with them, and ensuring the highest attainable level of health for all people.
Join Synapse as we shed a light on working in the Public Sector and Non-governmental Organizations. We have invited professionals from the various organizations to elaborate on the different career paths you can pursue within companies such as WHO, the Danish Medicines Agency, and the Danish Council on Ethics. We hope that you will leave this evening feeling inspired and enlightened on what options lies within the public sector as opposed to the private.

Afterwards you will have the opportunity to network with the speakers and the other participants while enjoying some light dinner and wine.

As we have been experiencing a high level of no-show lately, we are introducing a strike system. If you register and don’t attend without cancelling, you will get a strike. If you have 3 strikes you will get a quarantine from Synapse events.
