Join us for five unforgettable days at the Synapse BioBusiness Summer School 2026, taking place in Copenhagen from August 17th to 21st! If you're a life science student, recent graduate, or Ph.D. candidate who has ever looked up from the bench and wondered what lies beyond it, this is the summer school you've been waiting for.

Over five immersive days, you'll cross the bridge between science and business and discover what it really takes to transform a bold idea into a company that changes lives. Intellectual property, VC, regulatory affairs, market access, strategy, leadership, AI, The full landscape of life science business is yours to explore.

You'll learn from the people actually doing it: academics pushing the science forward, founders who took the leap, investors who backed the right bets, and executives who scaled startups into global players. Expect inspiring talks, honest panel discussions, hands-on workshops, and networking sessions that go way beyond exchanging business cards.

The highlight of the week? Our case competition, crafted in partnership with BAIN & Company and the BioInnovation Institute. You'll team up with fellow participants to tackle a live business challenge from a real BII startup - testing your ideas, sharpening your thinking, problem solving, and pitching skills. No prior business experience required. Curiosity and ambition are enough to get you started.

Synapse takes care of the food all week, and we close out with a celebration dinner and afterparty that you'll genuinely not want to miss.

Your science got you this far. Let's see where business can take you.
